Templates for CEP Plans & help to get started

Formulating an emergency plan for your community isn't really that complicated but starting one can often present various challenges, usually in respect of deciding on content and the relevant areas to cover.

To make these initial steps less intimidating the Suffolk Joint Emergency Planning Unit has developed a series of documents for you to download from this section which will help you to make a start on your plan.

 

Step By Step Guide To Planning

This step by step guide outlines the concept of community resilience, defines what constitutes an emergency and helps you to position your own community in regards to its emergency preparedness. It also acts as a concise guide to assist you in developing and completing your community's emergency plan.

Emergency Plan Templates

Some emergency plan templates have been developed which allow you to simply fill in sections (where relevant to your community) in a form style. You will find a short and a more detailed template; either can be used according to your community's requirements.
